Loverush UK! feat Bryan Adams - Tonight In Babylon

This is the Canadian rocker's latest foray into clubland after "Don't Give Up" with Chicane in 2000, which was a major hit. "Tonight In Babylon" is a stunning Electro House (with a hint of Rock) track in its main version with Bryan's amazing vocals.

Kristine W - Land Of The Living 2011

Originally released as a single in 1996, this is a favorite among many of her fans. Several new mixes have been released, making over the song yet again. There were already nearly several dozen mixes from the initial releases. The new package includes mixes by Kevin Saunderson, Timothy Allan and Deep Dish. Kevin Saunderson's electro-house mixes are mostly instrumental with just a few vocal samples on the remix. However, Timothy Allan's progressive tribal/electro mixes make use of the vocals on his mixes. Kristine's powerful vocals are beautifully showcased. Finally, there's the Deep Dish mix which is a longer, unreleased version of their already brilliant mix. Clocking in at over 13 minutes, the funky disco/house mix is absolutely stunning. This one is the obvious standout of the package, however, the Timothy Allan vocal mix is a stellar update.

Grade: B+ (for the package overall)/A- (for the Timothy Allan remix)/A+ (for the unreleased Deep Dish mix)

Mory Kante vs Loverush UK! - Yeke Yeke 2011

Originally released in 1987, this international smash is considered a classic in many circles. This has been updated this year courtesy of Loverush UK!. Certain key elements of the original and the 1992 Hardfloor mix have been kept while freshening it up. There are additional mixes by Robbie Rivera, Rinaldo Montezz, Timothy Allan, Chris Sen, and Bluestone. Robbie Rivera's piano-drenched electro treatment starts off promising but doesn't really go anywhere. Rinaldo Montezz's Offer Nissim-esque mix is a little better, but works better as a radio edit. Timothy Allan's mix is basically a tribal/electro dub which has some good moments. The electro Chris Sen mix channels some of the Afro Acid mix from the original release. The Bluestone mix emphasizes the vocals, but isn't that exciting. The Loverush UK!, Rinaldo Montezz, and Chris Sen mixes are the ones to check out.
