Glamrock Brothers & Sunloverz feat Nightcrawlers - Push The Feeling On 2K12

The House classic was originally released in 1992. It was a full vocal midtempo Disco-inflected Pop song in its original version. It was the dub remix by Marc Kinchen (The Dub Of Doom) that used only a small bit of vocals and a distinctive loop that became the most famous version. Some had speculated about what the actual lyrics were because they were seemingly indecipherable, but the original version will clear up any questions one has. An updated version of the dub version with additional vocals came out in 1995, topping the charts once again. A further revisit happened in 2003-2004 with remixes by JCA and Rosabel.

This new one has some interesting mixes. All of the mixes use the elements and vocals from the MK mix from 1992, however the main vocal mix has some additional vocals making this a totally new track with the Nightcrawlers song serving as the hook. The Big Room mix is mostly instrumental with just some vocals. The new production doesn't really fit that well. The SL Bootleg Version is circuit-oriented and is mostly based around the MK version and the beats from the Steve Angello & Laidback Luke track "Be" which was notably mashed up with Robin S' "Show Me Love" acapella few years back.

Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull - Dance Again

This is one of the new songs from Jennifer's upcoming greatest hits collection. Produced by RedOne, this is a club-oriented track. Attempting to re-create the success they had with "On The Floor" last year, this song is in a similar vein. Jennifer sounds much better vocally on this one. Although not bad, Pitbull's rap feels unnecessary and out of place. A sample from the Dub Of Doom remix of Nightcrawlers' 90s club hit "Push The Feeling On" (Pitbull sampled the main riff on his hit "Hotel Room Service") during the second rap break is really interesting. Hopefully a full solo version will be released later on just as was done with "On The Floor." Overall, this is a fun song.

Nightcrawlers feat Taio Cruz - Still Cryin'

This is a club-oriented update to a song sung by Taio and John Reid a couple of years back. Both singers' voices complement each other nicely. The Freemasons, Cahill, LMC, Kenny Hayes, Jorg Schmid, and Hypasonic provide the remixes. The Freemasons keep things simple with a slightly slower mix than usual. Cahill's slightly trancey mix is beautiful as well. LMC and Kenny Hayes make things a little funkier. Jorg Schmid and Hypasonic's mixes are both in that jump-up trance style. Each a little faster than the last. Overall, the Freemasons, Cahill, and Kenny Hayes mixes are the best of the bunch. The Freemasons mix sounds perfect for U.S. CHR/Pop radio right now.

Pitbull - Hotel Room Service

This is the followup to the still monstrous "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" which has yet to peak. Following his formula of sampling heavily from a club classic of the past, he samples the main instrumental hook from the Mark Kinchen mix of "Push The Feeling On" by Nightcrawlers. The combination of Pitbull's rhymes and the Nightcrawlers sample may sound really odd on paper, but it really works. It could be one of the big Summer songs this year.
