Jessica Sutta - Again (Remixes)

The remixes of the the former Pussycat Doll's single that was released in late March are now available.

There are remixes by Dany Cohiba & The Henchmen, DJ Theresa, Emjae, Gianluca Cesaro & Venz DC, Hector Fonseca & Tommy Love, IDeaL & J-Break, Jerome Farley with both Del Pino Bros. and Joel Dickinson, Jesse Voorn, JRMX, Myke Rossi, and Nikno, in addition to the extended version of the original. It would take too long to describe each and every mix as there are so many, but all are really great with the two sets of Jerome Farley mixes, the JRMX, and Myke Rossi ones being the best of the bunch.

Carmen Electra feat Bill Hamel - I Like It Loud

The actress/dancer/model/television personality/singer is back with a new single. It was released in the later part of 2012. Carmen had released an album of Dance/Hip Hop/R&B/Pop in the early 90s with productions by Prince, Junior Vasquez, and Keith Cohen. Although the album wasn't a commercial success, it became a cult classic spawning a couple of minor club hits. "I Like It Loud" is a very simple, straightforward half sung, half rapped track. Carmen sounds great and gets one in the mood to just let loose and have fun. Bill Hamel's production is very contemporary and the song could easily be played on Pop radio and in the clubs. Hector Fonseca & DJ Theresa have done some remixes. Hector's main mix isn't as hard as the original and makes it just a little clubbier. His dub with Theresa is harder-hitting. Overall, every version is great.

Erika Jayne - Party People (Ignite The World)

She is back with another dancefloor smash waiting to happen! "Party People (Ignite The World)" is an extremely catchy little ditty. The original version is in an electro/tribal style that is both suitable for the clubs and radio. This song feels like the sassier cousin of The Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling." There are remixes by Bimbo Jones, Cory Enemy, Hector Fonseca, Jody Den Broeder, and Whiiite. The Bimbo Jones mix is in a similar vein as the original with some additional electro synth breaks. Cory Enemy's big room mix is uplifting, however, it is more like a dub. Hector Fonseca's mix is similar, however, it lacks direction. Jody Den Broeder's big room/electro house mix contains the full vocals ans is really pretty. The Whiiite mix is mostly instrumental with a few vocal drops here and there. The buildups with the funky synthline are really great. Overall, the Original and Jody Den Broeder mixes are the best.

Offer Nissim featuring Maya - Hook Up

This is their latest single. Offer has been playing this one for a few months now. "Hook Up" is somewhat of a departure from their usual songs about love and loss. This one is a bit more sexual. Maya sort of speaks/raps the lyrics instead of singing them. It may sound a bit bizarre, but it works. The original is pretty tribal and slightly electro (think of taking the fun sleazy vibe of Starkillers or Hector Fonseca's productions and combining them with Offer's usual big room offerings). The gorgeous piano breaks and key stabs make up for the lack of sung vocals. Yinon Yahel's remix sounds more like what Offer would usualy do with his tracks. There are piano breaks in his mix as well. Those not liking the original may prefer this version. Ana Paula's mix has a nice strings break. The mix has a carnival-like atmosphere. Very good too. The Dimitri Vegas and Ben Preston mixes are both in a similar vein. They are much more electro-oriented.

A great package overall.
