Sudad G feat. Tascha Johnson - Won't Give Up

Melodic House in the vein of stuff from the early 90s has made a huge comeback in the last year or so. This new release sounds like it could have been made back then, but it fits in nicely with all the current ones. "Won't Give Up" is a soulful song of positivity sung beautifully by Tascha Johnson. The main version has a deep bassline and a nice piano loop. The Nu Disco mix is exactly what the name indicates--it's a modern take on the sensibilities of the Disco era. Last but not least is the Yuichi Inoue remix which is a little lighter and more uplifting. All 3 versions are excellent.

Jared Jones feat.Tascha Johnson - Get Up! (It's The Weekend)

Just released is an essential, feel-good song that will make you want to dance this weekend. It features the soulful vocals of Tascha Johnson and the mainstream yet big room production by Jared Jones. The main version's style recalls that of the Soul Seekerz, except it is a bit harder. Additional remixes are by Jadin Recks, Jared Jones, Jeff Morena, Matt Moss, Naked Highway, Oliver Watts, Sean Niles, and Sudad G. Jadin Recks delivers a techy-tribal mix with lots of cool vocal effects. Jared Jones' remix is in line with MK's classic production style that has recently been revived. Jeff Morena's electro mix is totally twisted with all its loops and manipulations. Matt Moss provides a softer, Deep House treatment. Naked Highway delivers the usual 80's leaning electro mix which is lots of fun. Oliver Watts' bass driven tribal mix will be perfect for peak hour. Sean Niles' Dance/Hip Hop fusion recalls early 90s Booty House with Freestyle elements. Sudad G's mix closes out the package in a hard yet Deep House style. All versions of the song are top notch with Jared Jones' remix being the best of the bunch along with the Naked Highway one.

Placidic Dream feat Tascha Johnson - I'm In Love

Soulful House music has been making a huge comeback during the last year. This new release is yet another one in that style. It features the warm vocals of Tascha Johnson. The main version is straight out of the Def Mix era. The additional mixes by Earl TuTu with John Kahn, Sandro Valentino, and Fry with Chizo all maintain the soulful elements of the original, however, each one adds a little something making it suitable for different types of dancefloors. Earl TuTu with John Kahn's mix is close to the original but a little meatier. Sandro Valentino's is more peak hour, but still on the lighter side. Fry with Chizo's mix is also peak hour-oriented. All 4 mixes are amazing.

VELO feat Tascha Johnson - We Like To Party

What happens when an LMFAO styled song is mashed with a "Sexyback" sounding production? You get the energetic "We Like To Party." Produced by DJ Pistol & John Nold and written by both VELO and Tascha, this song is the perfect soundtrack to a night out or a house party. Included on the single are the main DJ Pistol versions which come in both a club and radio edit. DJ Javier Penna provides a nice alternate peak hour mix. This has the potential to be both a club and radio hit if given a proper push.
