David Morales feat Janice Robinson - There Must Be Love

Nearly several months in the making, this testament to the necessity of love in the world has finally been released. It is the latest collaboration of veteran producer/remixer/DJ David Morales and singer-songwriter Janice Robinson. They have worked together in the past for David's last album Changes and he remixed Janice's underground hit "Earthbeat" in the mid 90s. Janice's vocals are soulful and beautiful. The lyrics are well-thought out and powerful. The Disco Juice remixes are a fusion sound of the glory days of Disco and the melodic House of the 90s. The Piano Intro version starts off with a piano whereas the other one begins with the drums. The World mixes are deeper and a little darker. These recall the classic Red Zone mixes which would usually accompany the mainstream club mixes on a double pack. These are far more dramatic. Ralphi Rosario has also provided a remix which is tribal and darker, however, the vocal sections have some piano elements. Overall, this is an excellent song and every remix works well.

David Morales - Changes (Album)

This is the much-awaited artist album from veteran producer/remixer/DJ David Morales. He has enlisted the vocal talents of Ultra Naté, Janice Robinson, Tamra Keenan, Polina, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Polina, and Róisín Murphy. Each and every one of the tracks is extremely well-produced. Wisely, all the tracks fuse sounds of the past with what's hot and happening. The result is a collection of songs with wide appeal. Though every track is wonderful, some of the highlights include "Planet Called Love", "Fall In Love Tonight", "What Do You Believe In", and "I Don't Belong Here." Wisely, the entire album is unmixed making it perfect for DJs and music enthusiasts.

David Morales featuring Janice Robinson - I Make You Gaga

Nearly six years have passed since his last proper artist album 2 Worlds Collide was released. It spawned a number of singles. The first single from the forthcoming album is "I Make You Gaga." It is a strange electro/tribal track with the mysterious "I bet I make you gaga" vocal being repeated throughout. After a couple of minutes, Janice's vocals become really hypnotic and the initial weirdness wears off. In true Morales fashion, it has all sorts of fun twists and turns. As strange as the song is, the production is solid and it can fit well into a variety of sets.

This will be released on August 10.
