The second single from her new album Bangerz already went to number one recently after it had massive airplay, sales, and views of its controversial music video directed by Terry Richardson. The emotional power ballad produced by Dr. Luke showcases the Hannah Montana stars vocals brilliantly. It is easily one of her best songs and singles.
There have been countless bootlegs and uncommissioned club mixes of the song making the rounds, however, the best one has been produced by Nick Harvey. He delivers the quintessential anthem mix of the song, incorporating a massive synth riff reminiscent of the one found in the End All remix by Peter Bailey and Richie Santana of "The Lover That You Are". Miley's vocals soar over the epic production.

Katy Perry - Roar
This is the lead single from her upcoming 3rd album Prism. It is produced by Dr. Luke, who has been responsible for many of her hits. She had released two introspective songs which addressed her divorce when Teenage Dream was re-released last year, however, this song is in the same vein. She spurns her lover letting him know that she will not be put down by him and she will move forward. The song's production is strikingly similar to Sara Bareilles' "Brave" which was a moderate hit earlier this year. It is unknown whether that song was sampled or it just shares those similarities. It's a good lead single for the new album. This will be on iTunes on Monday, August 12.

Robin Thicke feat Kendrick Lamar - Give It 2 U
This is the followup to the number one smash hit "Blurred Lines." Produced by Dr. Luke, this toe-tapping number is a bit of a departure from the mostly R&B and Hip Hop artist. This may be a tad jarring for fans of his traditional music. Hot artist of the moment Kendrick Lamar is featured on the song delivering a good verse.

The Wanted - Walks Like Rihanna
The British boyband is back with a song that is an ode to red hot Barbadian singer Rihanna. After "I Found You" failed to launch in the U.S., they are trying something a little different. Co-written and produced by Dr. Luke, this song is tailor made for radio even though the production recalls his earlier work with other artists. Aside from the obvious gimmick of the song, it is extremely catchy and is perfect for the Summer.

Jason Derulo - The Other Side
This is the lead single from his upcoming 3rd album. Produced by DJ Ammo and Dr. Luke, this Dance/Pop track is reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson's recent hit "Catch My Breath" and Lady Gaga's "The Edge Of Glory", in terms of the production. The lyrics especially recall the latter. It is a return to form for the singer after most of the singles from his last album underperformed considerably despite being radio-friendly. This should help put him back on top.

Adam Lambert - Better Than I Know Myself
This is the lead single off of his sophomore album Trespassing. Produced by Dr. Luke (known mainly for his work with Kelly Clarkson, Ke$ha, and Katy Perry), this song is a light Electro/Pop midtempo. It has some of the production cornerstones of Dr. Luke's work, however, this has a freshness that many of his productions have lacked during the few years. Vocally, Adam sounds pretty good. He shows a little restraint on this one opting not to show off his impeccable range. This one is a nice change from the full-on ubiquitous Dance/Pop sound of late.
