Tony Moran - The Event Unmixed Total Collection 2012

The double disc compilation containing mostly brand new material was originally released in 2007 along with a modified digital edition the following year. This special unmixed edition includes 41 tracks comprised of full length versions of most of the songs that appeared on both compilations plus some alternate versions, radio edits, dubs, and some previously unreleased tracks.

Some of the highlights include the alternate mix of Kristine W's "Walk Away" that is far more hard-hitting and anthemic than the well-known original version. The full length version and alternate mixes of Nicki Richards' "Freedom" are lovely as well. The previously unavailable 10 minute Altar mix of "La Fiesta (Relive Your Kiss)" featuring vocals by Kara Dioguardi is a floorburner. The original version of that song appeared on one of Tony's compilations over a decade ago.

Overall, this is an excellent collection at a great price.

Tony Moran feat Jennifer Holliday - Magic

This is the latest single culled from Tony Moran's Mix Magic Music compilation. Legendary singer Jennifer Holliday delivers a fiery vocal performance. Her voice is in excellent form. The main version produced by Tony Moran, Warren Rigg, and Dave Saronson is every bit the big room anthem one would expect from them.

Tony Moran featuring Michelle Weeks - La Musica

This is the second of two new releases from Tony Moran rounding out 2010. "La Musica" is a new version of an instrumental track called "La Muzika" that he first featured on his The Event compilation a couple of years ago. It is an updated version of the track featuring Michelle Weeks and Trey Lorenz on vocals. The vocals are hypnotic and powerful. The main mix is a gorgeous big room stormer, as is the alternate mix with Dave Saronson. There are additional mixes by Edson Pride and Alexander & Mark VDH. Edson Pride's mixes have thicker, stackier riffs. Alexander & Mark VDH's mix is a tad milder. However, all versions pack quite a punch.

Tony Moran featuring Frenchie Davis - You Are

This is the much-awaited new single from the former American Idol contestant. Although the song was recorded last year, it was not released until just a few of days ago. This song is quite the anthem and could stay around well into the new year. Armed with mixes by Tony Moran with Warren Rigg, Dave Saronson and Giuseppe D, plus Joe Gautheraux, Mauro Mozart, Scotty K, and Klubjumpers, this one is aimed mainly towards a circuit-oriented audience. Tony and company's mixes are nice and hard. They have the right anthemic feel. Joe Gauthereaux's are a tad lighter, but also good. Mauro Mozart's is good, but it feels like it could have been harder. Scotty K and Klubjumpers both go in a similar circuit-lite direction. Frenchie Davis sounds great on "You Are." Here's to a long, successful recording career. Overall, the package is really great.

For now, the CD single is an exclusive at Perfect Beat. Click here (Perfect Beat) to listen to clips and buy the single.
