Gossip - A Joyful Noise RMX EP

The Indie Rock group known for their quirky and fun songs have enlisted the help of a number of remixers to do reworks of songs from their latest album.

All of the remixes are quite good, however, the standouts include the Seamus Haji mix of "Perfect World", Junior Vasquez mix of "Get Lost", and the Scissor Sisters and Peter Rauhofer mixes of "Get A Job".

The Seamus Haji mix of "Perfect World" is atmospheric and driving while the Junior Vasquez mix of "Get Lost" is a nice fusion of contemporary electro house and early 90s house. The Fast Eddie "Let's Go" downbeats, Inner City "Good Life"-sounding piano riff and "Reap (What You Sow)" beats are cute touches. For "Get A Job", the Scissor Sisters mix is very colorful and festive sounding with the light bongo drums. Peter Rauhofer takes things in a darker, aggressive direction.
