Snoop Dog - Wet/Sweat

The rapper is back with another highly suggestive song. Produced by The Cataracs, the song is a bass-heavy slow jam. Snoop's vocals are heavily autotuned, much in the same way as his 2007 single "Sexual Eruption." For the UK market and the clubs, there is a remix by David Guetta. The remix production borrows heavily from Felix's rave classic "Don't You Want Me", as sampled by Meck for the song "Feels Like Home." This element works surprisingly well.

Mams Taylor - Girl Gotta Girlfriend

Hailing from the UK, Mams Taylor is all set to make his proper U.S. debut. "Girl Gotta Girlfriend" is an R&B/Hip Hop/Pop track featuring Snoop Dogg and Bobby V. While this is not a groundbreaking song, it is a lot of fun and will go over very well in the clubs and on Rhythmic stations, and perhaps Pop stations if this were promoted there or if it naturally crossed over. And, club mixes will be released soon.

Buy the song on Amazon and iTunes (both clean and dirty versions are available)

Check out his official website for updates and some other fun stuff.

Snoop Dogg featuring Tanvi Shah - Snoop Dogg Millionaire

This is a new song that is produced by Wild Animals and Chase & Status. It is one of the latest songs to capitalize on the juggernaut that is Slumdog Millionaire. On this song, he enlists the help of Tanvi Shah who sang on that movie's soundtrack. She re-sang some bits from the song "Silsila Yeh Chaahat Ka" which came from the Bollywood movie Devdas (2002). Only a few parts are used. This is not the first time a Bollywood song has become the inspiration for a U.S. Hip Hop song. It has been a while since such a track was made. It was really in fashion during the 2002-2003 period when a number of artists did such tracks. While that song and Snoop's rhymes may be an unusual combination, it actually works pretty well. This might be included on Snoop's forthcoming Malice In Wonderland album.

Snoop Dogg - Sensual Seduction (Part Deux)

Snoop's latest offering "Sensual Seduction" ("Sexual Eruption") has been climbing up the charts. It is impossible to go anywhere without hearing (or seeing) it. In an effort to keep it fresh, two remixes have been completed that preserve the feel and vibe of the original, but add something new. The first mix features rapper Lil' Kim. Her minimal portions are raunchy and explicit as expected, however, she keeps the profanity to a minimum. The unexpected twist comes in the form of the second remix which features Swedish Pop starlet Robyn, who most notably had a handful of hits in the U.S. during the mid 90's. She recently hit it big in Europe with her recent album. That album is to be released in the U.S. in the next few months. Aside from the added Electronica elements, it doesn't stray too far from the original. Robyn's lyrics are actually naughtier than Lil' Kim's!!! Some would wonder how that is possible, but it happened here. It's an unlikely pairing, but it works well. Both mixes freshen up the track very well. Hopefully both will be properly released since they are really worth our while.

Snoop Dogg - Sexual Eruption

This is the latest from his forthcoming album. The title will definitely pique interest. This song reminds us of why we love Snoop Dogg so much. Instead of just rapping the whole time, Snoop sings for most of it and raps just a little. The song has the feel of an 80's Freestyle/Hip Hop track. But it doesn't feel dated. It feels very fresh. There is a cleaner version of the original called "Sensual Seduction." Just a few lyrics are changed, but it works. The music video is very eye-popping and cute. Yes. It's kinda cute.
