Sweet Rains & Reina - Forever (Remixes)

Dance Diva Reina (of "Find Another Woman", "No One's Gonna Change You", and "Miss The Way" fame) teams up with Sweet Rains on this brand new single. It is a lovely song that will work perfectly in the clubs and on radio. The main version is a nice balance between the Electro of today and the melodic House of the 90s. Additional remixes are by Nick Harvey, Nukage, Ranny, and Serving Ovahness. Nick Harvey's big room mixes are uplifting and pretty, but they still pack a punch with the hard beats. Nukage's hard Electro take works, but the aggressive chainsaw synths aren't the best match for Reina's beautiful vocals. Ranny's mix is more suited for peak hour with its tribal production. Serving Ovahness delivers a mix that is a good middle ground between peak hour and full blown anthem. Overall, the original, Nick Harvey, and Serving Ovahness ones are the best of the bunch.

Cherie Lily - Body (The Remixes, Part 2)

This is the second set of remixes for the sexy workout song. The Carry Nation, Dani Toro, Nick Bertossi, and Nick Harvey provide the new mixes. The Carry Nation delivers a bass heavy peak hour mix. Dani Toro's mix is tribal, but it has some cute 90s Handbag House elements. Nick Bertossi's mix is percussion driven with all sorts hard drums and buildups. Nick Harvey's main mix on this second package is different from the ones he did previously. It's harder. His Instradub is really hot too. Overall, every mix is great.

Cherie Lily - Body (Remixes) Part 1

This is the latest single from the singer and creator of Houserobics. The super sexy, bootyshaking club track recalls the glory days of Technotronic. There are plenty of remixes by Brian 'Serving' Ovahness, Eddie Martinez, Fumi Kondoh, Joshua D, and Nick Harvey in addition to Cherie's own main mix with Vjuan Allure. Serving Ovahness turns this into a pumping circuit anthem with its hard beats and perfectly timed vocal drops. Eddie Martinez's tribal reworking will push dancefloors into overdrive. Fumi Kondoh's mix is runway-ready, recalling Peter Rauhofer's mid 90s Size Queen project. Joshua D's synthy peak hour mix is contemporary. Last but not least is Nick Harvey's own tribal mixes. These are his usual big room circuit goodness. He has a special knack for working on songs of this nature. His dub has an entirely different drummy production. Overall, every remix is really great. Part 1 will be released on December 17, 2013 for purchase wherever digital music is sold. A 2nd set of remixes will be released in early 2014.

Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball (Nick Harvey remix)

The second single from her new album Bangerz already went to number one recently after it had massive airplay, sales, and views of its controversial music video directed by Terry Richardson. The emotional power ballad produced by Dr. Luke showcases the Hannah Montana stars vocals brilliantly. It is easily one of her best songs and singles.

There have been countless bootlegs and uncommissioned club mixes of the song making the rounds, however, the best one has been produced by Nick Harvey. He delivers the quintessential anthem mix of the song, incorporating a massive synth riff reminiscent of the one found in the End All remix by Peter Bailey and Richie Santana of "The Lover That You Are". Miley's vocals soar over the epic production.

Levi Kreis - Gonna Be Alright (Remixes)

This is the latest single from the Tony award winning actor/singer. The song was previously released over 4 years ago, but it has been given a massive package of new remixes by Country Club Martini Crew, David Lee Rotten, Jared Jones, Joel Dickinson, Josh Harris, Matt Moss, Mission Groove, Naked Highway, Nick Harvey, Twisted Dee, and Wayne G with Andy Allder. Levi's vocals are heartfelt and so lovely.

This is another rare instance where each and every remix is amazing! The Country Club Martini Crew, Jared Jones, Josh Harris, and Matt Moss mixes are in mainstream, funky house styles whereas Joel Dickinson, Mission Groove, Nick Harvey, Twisted Dee, and Wayne G with Andy Allder provide circuit-oriented ones. David Lee Rotten's mix has an 80s synthpop feel. Naked Highway's is aggressive electro-house.

Overall, the best ones are the piano-laden Country Club Martini Crew, the darker Joel Dickinson, the discoey Matt Moss, and Wayne G with Andy Allder mixes.

Rihanna - Right Now (feat David Guetta)

This is the 4th single from her Unapologetic album. This had also been an early favorite and now it is a single. Produced by David Guetta, Stargate, Nicky Romero, and Tuinfort, the club-oriented song is typical of what one would expect from them. This one should easily top the charts.

There have been a bunch of uncommissioned remixes of this song making the rounds. The two best ones so far are by Eddie Baez and Nick Harvey with Billy Waters. Eddie's peak hour circuit mix makes this a floorfiller. Nick Harvey & Billy Waters' mix has a big room feel but this has a much more mainstream feel. This one improves upon the original considerably making the song so much more exciting.

Rusty Villiers - Disco Boy

This mostly instrumental tribal release is interesting as it combines a deep voiced male vocal, some subtle Disco elements, and tons of tribal drums. There are remixes by Nick Harvey, Matt Moss, Taz, and Anndy Stamer.

Nick Harvey's mix builds with hard drums and bass to a deep Disco era bassline drop leading to peak hour synths. Matt Moss softens things up with his Electro House mix, building to a Giorgio Moroder "I Feel Love" type section. Taz's mix has an old school rave flavor recalling some of Superchumbo's work. Anndy Stamer's peak hour mix features a fierce, warped Electro riff. Overall, every mix is really great.

Paulo & Jackinsky feat Michael G - Chicky Boom! (Remixes)

The main versions of this dark tribal track were released last year. Some additional mixes have been released. DJ Paulo, Nick Harvey, Stephan Grondin, and Tony Moran with Mauro Mozart provided the mixes. DJ Paulo's own Runway mixes are hard and tribal with the occasional tease of those "Love Is The Message" flourishes and that hypnotic male vocal. Nick Harvey's mix is quite the anthem with a big buildup to a long break and then more of a buildup, then it's over. Stephan Grondin's mix is drummy and minimal. Tony Moran & Mauro Mozart's big room mix is the most mainstream of the bunch. Overall, DJ Paulo's mix is the best of the bunch with the others being great too.

Adele - Skyfall (Nick Harvey mixes)

The latest 007 theme song sung by British songstress Adele has now been remixed for the clubs. There are plenty of mixes making the rounds, however, the Nick Harvey ones are easily the best of the bunch.

Nick beautifully preserves the already dark and dramatic atmosphere of the original and takes it up several notches. Some of the instrumental parts take on an exciting, almost dangerous feel just as the Bond films usually are. It's a big room full vocal treatment that works very well. Chad D - 1 Dance

This electro-dubstep styled with pop sensibilities track is the current single off of his debut album The Human Link. It is fun, straight-forward song with a great hook. Nick Harvey and Aulden Brown's remixes really make this song even better. Nick Harvey's electro-tinged tribal mix makes this into a floorfiller while Aulden Brown's mix is a bit harder and darker. Both are very well-produced, however, Nick's mixes are the better ones.

Audio Assembly feat. Paul Mahos & New Life Crisis

This is the latest original track from red hot production trio Audio Assembly (aka Joel Dickinson, John Michael DiSpirito, and Billy Waters) featuring the vocal talents of Paul Mahos of Rock band New Life Crisis. New Life Crisis is best known for their song "Daylight", which was remixed for the dancefloor by Tony Moran. On "Sway", Mahos delivers a rousing glam rock vocal that would make Freddie Mercury proud had he still been with us. There are remixes by Audio Assembly, Gomi, and Nick Harvey. Audio Assembly's mix is long and hard with dark synth stabs. Gomi's mix is trancey and hard. The production is so pretty with or without the vocals. Nick Harvey's mix has tons of blinding synths coupled with hard beats. All 3 have done a kickass job on their respective mixes. This is an excellent release.

Aiden Leslie - Trying To Leave Now

This is the latest single from the New York-based singer. Aiden's vocal style calls to mind Boy George, Andy Bell, and a little of The Human League. The song is really catchy. The original is an Electro Dance/Pop with a hint of Rock song.

There are many remixes of this by Orly Productions, Nick Harvey & Scott Aviance, Joe Mancuso, Joe C & David Petrilla, Jerome Farley & Floor One, and The Werkin' Brothers.

Vibelicious and Dean Boudreau - Love Sick (Remixes)

Originally released in September, this song now has a full package of remixes by Nick Harvey, Deep Influence, Streamweaver, Bit Error, Matt Moss, QUBIQ, Halfstyle and Siense Deluxe.

Nick Harvey, Deep Influence, QUBIQ and Streamweaver all provide dark yet uplifting circuit/big room-oriented mixes. The Deep Influence and Streamweaver ones are the darkest. QUBIQ's is a little milder. Bit Error, Matt Moss, and Halfstyle remain faithful to the original with their mixes, but add a little something extra. The Siense Deluxe version is mostly instrumental with just a little bit of vocals. Overall, all the versions are really good. The Nick Harvey, Deep Influence, Bit Error, and Matt Moss mixes are the highlights.

Nick Harvey Presents Halo - Pure Love (Remixes)

The highly anticipated remix package for "Pure Love" has been released today! Vibelicious, Aulden Brown, Audio Assembly, Matt Moss, Taz, and Brent Hensley provide the remixes this time around. Vibelicious provide a chilled, yet danceable mix. Aulden Brown's minimal electro/house mix is good. Audio Assembly's interpretation is drummy and driving. Their mix best utilizes the vocals. Matt Moss's circuit-oriented treatment is energetic as well. Taz's mix is a tribal dub using only some of the vocal. The real action kicks in during the second half. Brent Hensley's mix is tribal as well. His mix calls to mind some of Hex Hector's darker mixes from the earlier part of the 2000's. Closing out the package are two dubs by Nick Harvey and Audio Assembly. Nick Harvey's dub is a minimal, percussive piece suitable for afterhours. This one would also work well when layered with the break of a synthy track. The Audio Assembly dub is largely based on the vocal version, but is a bit more underground sounding. Overall, every mix on this package is really good.

Junior Vasquez feat. John Michael - Xtatic

This is a brand new track from the legendary DJ/remixer/producer. Almost an instrumental with a few hypnotic vocals by John Michael every so often, this track is perfect for a wide variety of sets. The Audio Assembly mix is dark and minimal, taking on an almost industrial feel at times. This is perfect for afterhours. Nick Harvey's mix is perfect for peak hour play with the tribal drums and blinding synths. Also included are acapellas of the main vocal and the static effect, and bonus beats of Nick's mix. The beats are exciting as well. Overall, this is a fun track.

Katy Perry - Firework (Remixes)

This is the third proper single from Teenage Dream. The anthemic "Firework" is catchy as it is empowering. The uptempo number has an underproduced electro/house sound to it.

There are plenty of remixes of this one by The Wideboys, Fred Falke, Jump Smokers, and Nick Harvey & Billy Waters. The Wideboys mix is in a similar vein as the original with a slightly funkier sound. Fred Falke's has an 80's synthpop sound to it. The Jump Smokers mix is a tad edgier than the others. Finally, there's the circuit mix by Nick Harvey & Billy Waters which truly turns this song into the anthem it was meant to be. This is the strongest mix of the package. Overall, all versions are good, but the last one is great.

Ryan W - Untouchable

This is the followup to his last single "Oceans." "Untouchable" has that right amount of attitude in both the lyrics and Ryan's delivery. The main mixes by Nick Harvey are his usual big room, tribal fierceness. His Plastic House mix is quite good. There are additional mixes by Razor N' Guido and Streamweaver. Razor N' Guido's mixes are much darker than Nick's versions. Their Duhb version is particularly notable with it's classic references. Streamweaver's mixes are slightly trancey with the soaring synthwork. Every version on this package is great.

Nick Harvey presents Halo - Pure Love

This is a new song featuring singer Heather Leigh West (most notably of "Drop A House" fame). Written and sung by Heather, it is produced by Nick Harvey. Heather's delivers a stirring and powerful vocal performance. The production is a good blend of tribal/electro house. The main synth riff from Razor N' Guido's club classic "Do It Again" is sampled here and works really well. Additional remixes will be released in a few weeks.

Ryan W - Oceans

This is the followup to the sensual "Crave" which was released earlier this year. "Oceans" is on the softer, romantic side. Ryan is given a better opportunity to showcase his vocals on this song. Remixes are by Nick Harvey and Ruben Vega. Nick's main versions have his signature tribal sound, however these have a lighter, uplifting feel as well. Imagine a Freemasons mix that was much harder. Ryan's vocals sound great on this. The main mix is over 12 minutes long and remains exciting throughout. Ruben Vega's mixes are slightly less tribal than the title indicates, but these are hard-hitting as well. Both are very well done.

Tim Letteer featuring Zhana - Broke Free

2010 is shaping up to be the year of the diva anthem. "Broke Free" is a song which can be added to this growing category. Featuring the soulful and powerful vocals of Zhana, this song is really great. The original has a big room feel, but is very accessible. Tim's Dark mix is a bit synthier and more suited for peak hour play. There are plenty of additional mixes by Chad Jack, Nick Harvey, Reed McGowan with Warren Rigg, Michael Hades, and Jamie J. Sanchez. Chad Jack offers an electro-flavored circuit mix. Nick Harvey's mixes are hard, dark, and driving. Reed and Warren's circuit-oriented mix is both soulful and hard at the same time. Michael Hades's mix is minimal and best for an afterhours set. Jamie J. Sanchez's mix is also hard and circuit-oriented. Overall, all the mixes are great, however, Nick, Reed with Warren and Jamie's mixes are the standouts.
